The Nike Air Force 1 Mid Black 2016 is a blacked-out mid-top rendition of the classic Nike Air Force 1 introduced in 1982.
This mid-top silhouette boasts an upper crafted entirely out of leather. Its leather base is overlayed by same-color leather overlays around the foot, heel, and lace area. This shoe features a perforated toebox to improve its breathability, an extra rubber layer between each eyelet closure, the padding on its collar, and a Velcro strap on its collar which prevents laces from getting caught or undone. These details are anchored by a midsole with Nike Air cushioning and a rubber outsole with heritage hoops pivot circles for improved traction. Branding-wise, it features larger Nike Swooshes on its sides and a small one on its strap as well as Nike Air branding on its heel and tongue tag.
